I know, you're seeing another person trying to get your attention, but I really believe that if you can help even one person through their hardship, or their pain of loss, it's all worth it.

I've completed two books of a three-part trilogy about the miracle of birth, the pain of loss, and the complexities of the in-between. I've wrapped them into a middle-grade fantasy adventure that is packed full of twists and turns, and I've honored the most painful losses you may have experienced, perhaps in a way that offers something greater than solace. The journeys in these books aren't easy. But they carry one message through it all: How brilliant you already are.

The island of Iyanwa is an otherworld that links the liminal moment between life and death. There, our travelers cross paths and become bound to one another: adventurers who are not yet born, and those who are not yet gone. Our adventurers are defined by that crossing — and those finishing their stories are given far more than just a hello or swift farewell.
