I have just received the free swag that I'll be giving away at upcoming Fahli book signings and author events happening in the second half of the year!
What Fahli merch is there?
I'm most excited about getting the Fahli postcards into readers' hands. On the back, there's a section where you can write a note to your future self. You could write about anything! Maybe your favorite book, what you want to be when you grow up, where you think you'll be in ten years, or something you're dreaming of right now.
Then, tuck it away somewhere safe and forget about it for a while. Years later, you might rediscover it and smile at how much has changed, and how much you've accomplished between writing it and reading it again.
Fahli Bookmark
The classic necessity for any book lover: a bookmark.
The Fahli bookmark features the front cover of the book on one side, and on the reverse you'll find the children of Fahli exploring the depths of the waters surrounding Iyanwa. It also includes a QR code that links directly to the Fahli microsite, where readers can learn more about the world and access the free Teacher Resource Kits available for download.
Fahli Banner (and some Fahli merch on the table!)
As an artist, it's always SO FUN seeing work big. I love how this front cover turned out; the colors, the story that's hidden in the image, and again the QR code to the website.
Included are business cards and possibly the most fun thing - stickers for readers to grab and put on their bottles!
Fahli Release Update
Fahli is SO CLOSE to publication!
The manuscript is now in the hands of the copy editor, who is helping polish the text before release. I can't wait to finally share this middle grade fantasy adventure with readers. Both hardcover and paperback editions will be available, and seeing the finished book getting closer every day is incredibly exciting.
