When writing these books, I wanted the world to expand. To widen. To give depth and context to each of the decisions.
That was the idea behind IYANWA, a middle grade adventure available now, and FAHLI, its prequel arriving this June. Together, they’re part of a connected story world that invites readers to explore not just what happens next—but what came before.
IYANWA — Available Now
At its core, IYANWA is about the bonds that bind siblings together. Family.
It introduces readers to an unforgiving island, that is unfamiliar, with the highest stakes, but softened by the undying, relentless love of a sister, who would do anything to help her brother when nothing else matters.
When I finished IYANWA, I had to read it again. The final chapter changed everything I thought I knew, and I had to go back in with my new understanding. Awesome.

FAHLI — Coming This June
FAHLI answers questions that readers had in the first book. It poses the question: What happens on Manatua?
Arriving this June, FAHLI explores the other side of the island, offering a different perspective. Nana, Elliot and Cosmo jump into an adventure of their own, where the moon's star is in full force, and a race across the island means something completely different.
I absolutely love, love, love this
